The residence "Marina Quartier 83" is located on the scenic waterfront of the Dahme, opposite the old town of Köpenick. It is a residential area with 44 apartments spread over two buildings. The shore of the river Dahme was redesigned. Residents have now access to a jetty. Private and community space was created for the residents. A playground, terraces, parking lots and shared green spaces were built. A special feature is the drainage of roof and surface waters, which is part of an ecological water concept. The water ist cleaned and discharged via above-ground trough drain into the local ditch Vollkropfgraben. Natural grasses and hedges were planted next to the terraces and in the immediate surroundings of the houses.
